内    容：Distance regression is commonly used to detect the association between multiple responses and the independent variables of interest in ecology, biology and genetics. However, the theoretical properties of the distance regression have not been studied by now. In this work, we obtain the asymptotic theoretical properties of the distance regression and use it to choose the principal components in correcting for population stratification.

报告人简介：李启寨，博士，中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院研究员。李启寨研究员主要从事统计遗传学及临床试验方面的研究。研究兴趣包括关联分析、全基因组关联分析、临床试验、纳米医学与生物学等；出版书两本，在包括Bioinformatics, Scientific Reports，Genetic Epidemiology，Annals of Human Genetics，JASA，Biometrics， Biostatistics，Nature Genetics，American Journal of Human Genetics，Cancer Research，Human Molecular Genetics等国际著名刊物发表论文83篇（其中SCI 70篇）；被他人SCI论文引用1100余次(Web of Science)，其中被SCI影响因子20以上的杂志引用30多次，单篇最高引用246次，第一作者及通讯作者最高引用44次；一篇论文被美国人类遗传学杂志评为2009年以来 “Most Cited Articles”之一；于2014年被国际重要期刊PLoS One (2013年SCI影响因子3.534)、Computational and Mathematical Methods in Medicine (SCI)和Journal of Systems Science & Complexity (SCI)邀请作编委。除此之外还担任国际期刊Frontiers in Genetics - Statistical Genetics and Methodology Section和Open Journal of Statistics的编委；于2013年作为Guest Editor在Computational and Mathematical Methods in Medicine (SCI)出版了一期关于“Statistical Genetics and Its Applications in Medical Studies” 的专辑。曾获国际统计研究所推选会员（Elected member of ISI）、中国科学院卢嘉锡青年人才奖、中国工业与应用数学学会优秀青年学者奖、首届中国科学院青年创新促进会“优秀会员”、美国国家癌症研究所DCEG突出科研成果和突出论文奖等。
